I have a few songs that I like a lot that has 4 audio streams... it has:

1. Music

2. Karaoke

3. Karaoke (sing with female singer)

4. Karaoke (sing with male singer)

Some times... I just want to sing with my favorite female singer in the video :)

Do you think it's feasible to add in the support for more than 2 audio streams?

It was work with more than 2 audio stream VU ( by not select fast track switch, it can cycle even 100 audio streams)

but you dont need 4 stream anymore, just turn on fast trackswitching or convert to mp4, you can press key 'a' to toggle the audio without any lag or hiss or any delay like many other player do

Ah ha... sorry about that.. it's already working :)

I never understood fast trackswitching... and how are 4 tracks not needed if I converted to MP4???

What's the best way to convert vob and mkv to mp4 and retain all the tracks?

fast track switching is the way you toggle audio track without any glitch as smooth as playing one single track.

there is a tool in download page, it can take convert vob,mkv to mp4 (up to 2 audio track now)

the so called 4 audio tracks are either made of by old VCD audio ( male one left, female on right so they can split out become 2 additional tracks) or some poor quality DVD which record male on left female on right channel. it will never have equal quality as standard stereo DVD. as you seen not every song can be made 4 audio tracks. So if you like quality better avoid 4 audio tracks.

I see.

I just downloaded a couple of song that has 4 audio tracks but these new songs play with no audio for me... I'm not sure why... I have songs with 4 audio tracks before on my catalog... I can't get these songs to play audio at all... I loaded them into MediaInfo and turns out they're AVI with MP3 sounds tracks... but shouldn't it play? though the file is .MKV but I think it's just a wrapper around the AVI files... any tips to get these files to play audio? Here's the link to download one of them for you to test., actually this one has only 2 tracks but still can't play... same format as the 4 tracks one...

that song playing fine, it contain 1 PCM format and 1 mp3 format. you need to enable Uncompress,mp3 codec in ffdshow

you need to check resample to 48khz, this song only 44.1khz

I did and it still crashed... what did you select under "decoder" of "Uncompressed"? I chose "all supported"

EDIT: okay got it to work... I selected Resample to 44100 instead of 4800... the song plays but still no audio... I noticed LAVSplitter is running when the song starts... is that the problem?

LAVSplitter show up is OK.

should be "all supported" and enable MPEG audio

resample always 48000

there is no reason it crashed

Sorry to dig back this old thread :) but the converter on download page doesn't support AVI -> Mp4, it only works with mkv and vob

Any idea?

I think you dont need to convert avi to play. AVI can be play natively by mediafoundation
